GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE

Students will gain elementarily knowledge of geodesy: coordination systems, measuring of angles, height differences, cartography, terrain orientation, use and design of geodetic plans and of bases of geodesy for civil engineering, calculating of area and volumes, calculating the standard deviation of measurements, …

The course will cover the following topics:

  11. Detail topographic survey of the terrain (polar, orthogonal)

  13. Designing of geodetic plans
  14. Engineer measurements
  15. Angle and distance measurements
  16. Advanced works in geodesy
  17. GNSS surveying
  18. Statistics in geodesy
